Cornell Real Estate Club Celebrates Its 2nd Annual Alumni Reunion

On March 26, 2026, the Cornell Real Estate Club welcomed 100 attendees for the 2nd Annual Alumni Reunion. These attendees included alumni from a wide range of companies within the real estate industry and current undergraduate students of the Class of 2026 to Class of 2030.

Building on the momentum of last year’s inaugural event, this event helped to solidify our commitment to creating an annual gathering for alumni and students to connect. Our organization is always finding new ways to support our network of alumni and leverage it to uplift students interested in pursuing careers in real estate from Cornell.
This event serves as more than just a networking opportunity; it is also a celebration of the Cornell Real Estate Club’s continued growth and success in expanding opportunities for students within the real estate industry. During the event, guests enjoyed a selection of hor d’oeuvres paired with a refreshing Cornell Real Estate Club-branded mocktail. Additionally, none of our alumni left empty-handed. To support club pride, we were thrilled to offer our alumni and students branded club hats, pens, and sticky note pads.
The evening was an opportunity to reconnect and also build relations across generations of Cornell Real Estate Club members. Alumni were able to reconnect with colleagues and meet other professionals in the real estate space to expand their professional networks. For current students, the event offered a unique opportunity to connect with alumni and understand the true depth of alumni support in the real estate industry at Cornell.
Executive board members shared exciting updates on the club’s trajectory and introduced several initiatives to deepen alumni engagement. These include expanding the alumni mentorship program, streamlining ways to get involved as a campus speaker, and increasing alumni involvement in our career treks. Student leaders also shared updates on the Cornell Real Estate Club’s core programs: Mentorship, AREP, and HAMI, which continue to remain central to the student learning experience and professional development.
What continues to make the Cornell Real Estate Club unique is the alumni’s willingness to stay involved and give back in meaningful ways. Alumni are committing to mentoring students, offering recruitment support, and engaging directly with students. This event reinforces the sentiment that CREC is not just a student club, but a life-long professional network that continues to grow with its members.
This evening would not have been possible without the generous support of our sponsors. We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the following organizations that helped make this event come to life: The Center for Real Estate Finance, The Cornell Real Estate Council (CREC), the Pension Real Estate Association Foundation, and the Paul Rubacha Department of Real Estate.
As we look ahead, Cornell Real Estate Club remains focused on building an accessible, supportive alumni network that actively creates opportunities, fosters mentorship, and strengthens relationships.
