SUMMARY:"ZOOM"-ing Interest Rates
DESCRIPTION:Join us on at noon central on Wednesday\, August 31st for a half hour virtual learning session. \n  \nTo diversify the offerings provided to the Chicago Chapter of the Cornell Real Estate Council\, we’re excited to invite you to a virtual learning session on Wednesday\, August 31st. Mike Flanagan\, VP of Capital Markets at Green Courte Partners\, will provide a high-level summary of what’s happened in the interest rate and derivatives markets thus far in 2022 and what is forecast to happen over the next 12 months. This session will be useful for everyone in the real estate industry. The presentation aims to give everyone a common understanding of what’s happened in the markets so that all attendees can be more educated and well-versed on this topic. \nWe’re also working on scheduling an outdoor cocktail meetup in the coming weeks as the next event in our Cornell REconnection series. Keep an eye out for an upcoming email with more information. \nDate: Wednesday August 31st\nTime: 12:00-12:30p CT\nVirtual Meeting Link: Click Here

SUMMARY:Chicago CREC - Spring into Lunch
DESCRIPTION:Dear Chicago CREC Members\, \n  \nAs more and more people are getting back in the office\, we figured it was time to reboot CREC…we’re long overdue.  Every month\, we are planning on having informal lunches so that we can get to know each other and re-acquaint.  These are intended to be casual and informal; bring/buy your own lunch at the identified location.  We will try to pick a different area in the city every month so that we round out the convenience for those working in different locations. \nLet’s do this the right way and start with an iconic Chicago location – Willis Tower\, the building formerly known as Sears Tower. Please join us for an informal lunch on Thursday\, June 23  at the Willis Tower food hall.  We’d love to (re)connect\, share a meal\, and maybe even talk a little real estate. We hope to see you there. \n  \nWHEN: Noon\, Thursday June\, 23 \nRSVP: Please scroll down to RSVP (while this event is a Bring/Buy Your Own Lunch event\, we’d like to get a headcount so that we can keep an eye out for you). \nWHERE: Willis Tower food hall; Jackson Street Entrance; see image for circled table:
