Event Overview
New York City was hit early and hard by COVID-19. At one point the epicenter of the pandemic in the United States, the city saw its tourism industry, commuter-reliant local businesses, and overall city life temporarily devastated.
But New York is nothing if not resilient. That goes for its people, who have pivoted to new ways of living and working, and it is also true of the city’s real estate sector, which has been forced to adapt to evolving realities. As the changes brought on by the pandemic coincide with the real estate sector’s need to synchronize with technology to address dramatically shifting 21st-century demands, the question now is how — and how successfully — will the New York City real estate ecosystem rebound?
